US Global Tax Ltd is an expatriate tax practice, specialising in US tax compliance. Assisting thousands of US citizens over the years, our firm has become known for its expertise in the field of both Australian – US and NZ – US taxation.
We have combined staff experience of more than 30 years of specialist US expatriate taxation, assisting a client base from students with limited income up to multi-national corporations. We assist not just expats from the US with their tax needs, but also New Zealand and Australian citizens who have moved, or are considering a move to the US.
With offices in Auckland and Sydney, our ability to quickly respond to our client’s needs is unrivalled. We are experts in United States taxation and the implications of FATCA legislation for US citizens residing overseas.
We are able to assist individuals, trusts, companies and all other entities in ensuring cross-border tax obligations are met.
Unlike many web companies offering their services, we are:
We put our clients first, and provide a tailored service. We do this with a strong reputation for our jargon-free yet expert customer service, and our use of cutting edge technology ensuring efficiency.
For any US (or non-US) citizen needing expert advice or tax return preparation, we are the specialists best placed to help.
If you’re unsure of your US tax obligations, or what FATCA means to you, contact our friendly team today.
As a driven and passionate creator of businesses, what excites me most about running US Global Tax is the tremendous value we provide to our clients. For most, navigating US tax is a vastly complex process, and I love the fact that we remove fear and alleviate stress on a daily basis.
I like to think of my team members as part tax specialists and part psychologists because they deal with a lot of unease and anxiety in people’s lives when it comes to tax issues, especially FATCA compliance (see Featured section below).
And we don’t just help the taxpayers.
A large part of our purpose as a company is to advise the advisers. Our expert education pieces help mortgage brokers, financial advisers and accountants understand the full implications of their advice, so they can maximise returns for their clients and minimise the risk when it comes to the minefield of US taxes.
Luckily, I am surrounded by an outstanding and adaptable team who deliver this service. I built the business based on the principles of honesty, integrity, creativity and diligence. Everyone at US Global Tax ticks those four boxes and are empowered to take responsibility and push the envelope for our clients.
As an ex-chartered accountant, I’ve spent my life around numbers. From a bank teller straight from school to controlling multimillion-dollar books in the meat, dairy and lumber industries, but accounts are only part of the story.
Experience in many different industries and roles has given me a deep understanding of how business works, how markets work, and what makes people tick. While I’d put building relationships and systemising a company right up there on my list of skills, seeing opportunities (where others don’t) would be number one.
